They don’t understand packaging
"I ordered a travel watercolor palette with half-pans. The box was four times too large for the item. They labeled the box “fragile,” put air pocket stuff on top, but left the bottom sitting uncushioned on the interior of the box. It was ... odd."

"Travelling to Italy with friends for 2 weeks to paint en plein air...have the usual samall pochade boxes, saw the Sienna medium box by Richeson on their web-site after reading an advertisement in Artists Magazine. Ordered same from DickBlick.com...Box had a smaller palate footprint than stated, and was heavier than stated, so I attempted to return it.Blick told me I would have pay a 15% restocking fee, plus a $20, ‘re-boxing’ fee and the return postage, on a $136 (plus tax and shiping) purchase. (Approximately 50% of the purchase price originally). I objected, they sited their ‘return policy’ which states: “100% satisfaction with your order or your money back” , then they said it was a special order item, and the maker had that return polciy, then they said they would waive their ‘re-boxing’ fee. AT NO TIME DID THEY LIVE UP TO THEIR STATED POLCIY OF 100% CUSTOMER SATISFACTION.So if any reader would like a Sienna medium pochade box, please let me know, I have one on the shelf!"
