"I have been using idealtruevalue.com for several years. This year was the only time there was a glitch. The web site appeared to function differently and I didn't receive a confirmation e-mail which made me worry the site had been hacked ...but it wasn't. I sent an e-mail regarding my concerns and received an e-mail back. It took a little longer than usual to get this order but a subsequent order I placed had no problems. So whatever problem they were experiencing, seems to be resolved. You can't beat this site for their prices. I strongly recommend it."
Worst Ever Online Shopping
"I ordered 300 sprinkler spray heads. Over the course of 3 1/2 weeks I received 5 poorly packed packages of sprinklers drop shipped from all over the US. So much wasted time waiting and counting each loose packed spray head. NEVER AGAIN!! Cecilia Robinson"

"I ordered a vent in February and nothing. In April I filed a no receipt claim with pay pal because the company never responded to any of my Phone messages or my emails. Next morning they refunded with no explanation. I think they either hope you forget you ordered and they just make interest on the money they hold for several months. **** company do not use!"
"I rarely (if ever) write reviews, but feel compelled to here. I ordered some Redgard waterproofer and when it was delivered, the fedex guy must have just thrown it on the porch and one of the gallons was busted open and it all poured out. I reached out to TVHC and attached some pics. Robert got right back to me, was apologetic and sent out a replacement quickly. Service like that is rare these days, unfortunately. Thanks."

"I ordered three packs of graphite valve stem washers. The washers I received were rubber and so malformed that they will not seal. Classic bait and switch using factory seconds. Buyer beware."
Robert Rocks - Communication & Order Accuracy Need Attention
"So the price of the items I ordered were priced well below competition. Red flag? I took a chance. When I received the order it was incomplete. Contacted support and "Robert" told me other 1/2 of order was on the way. True enough. When other 1/2 arrived some of the parts I ordered were not included, instead, there were parts I did not order. Took pics of the ordered and again emailed Robert. He emailed back saying that he would get it handled. Sure enough, within a few days I received the rest of my order. Based upon my experience, their communication on when and how orders are shipped needs improvement. Additionally, they to pay attention that the order is accurately filled. As far as customer support - Robert rocks. He didn't **** off and he did what he said he would. I expect no more. Overall, if the product I seek is generic, and their price is well below the competition - I would order from them again."

"I ordered replacement **** for calf bottles. The shipping was crazy high for an order that weighed less than a pound ($8.99) but I needed them. Two full weeks after I placed the order I got an email saying the **** were no longer available. Horrible customer service. "

NO RESPONSE CUSTOMER SERVICE for 3 WEEKS (AND COUNTING!!!)! ITEM BROKEN IN SHIPMENT
"Ordered some blinds which are made of a lightweight plastic - As soon as the package was delivered I knew there was going to be an issue. True Value shipped these two relatively large blinds (72" ea. in length ) basically just shrink wrapped together. There WAS NO precautions taken in packaging to be sure the item wasn't damaged in shipping. As expected both ends of the blinds were shattered when I removed the shrink wrapping. I took pictures to document the damage and 1st emailed True Value customer support. I waited 5 business days and didn't receive a response. I sent email # 2. - waited 3 business days No response. Called customer service - waited 3 business days - NO RESPONSE - Emailed and called AGAIN... No RESPONSE. It's now over 3 week since my initial email. Never had a supposed reputable company just ignore their customers. LAST PURCHASE I'LL EVER MAKE FROM TRUE VALUE.UNBELIEVABLE . BUT TRUE. If I COULD GIVE THEM NO STARS I WOULD!!"

Shipping on 1 can was pretty expensive, but when I up the quantity to '4' it became cheaper per can than if I was still buying them locally.I do hope you are going to continue carrying them as it is an amazing product. I call it "Magic in A Can".My normal places seem to all be jumping on the "Min-Wax" bandwagon, which I personally think is terrible. Great Customer Service
"We found Ideal True Value on line when we were looking for outside lighting for our home. We were looking for a particular style of wall sconce, and wanted them to be LED lights to save operating costs: Ideal had the exact model we were looking for. The price was right, and the online purchase was trouble free. When the lights arrived we had them professionally installed to ensure they were wired correctly, and they worked great...for about two months. One night one of the lights just stopped working. We called the electrician who had installed the lights to check it out and he confirmed that the problem was the light itself. We contacted Ideal True Value expecting some push back, or at least some grilling as to the details of the problem, but they advised , with absolutely no hesitation, that they would send a replacement right away. We are waiting for the replacement now ( the other original light is still working fine) and will follow up on this review when we receive and install it. Our thanks to everyone involved - Robert has been particularly helpful, and I want to thank him specifically for going above and beyond for us. We will definitely purchase from you again, and spread the word about this great, customer friendly store. "

"Ordered 100lbs of ice melt pellets that I couldn't find locally. The online price was great. The sales receipt looked kind of plain for what I'm used to from ordering online, and after reading some of the negative reviews I started to get concerned. I sent a quick email to the customer service address and received a response within a couple hours. My packages shipped later that day and I received them two days later. Exactly what I ordered and on time."
