"the customer service rep Elijah.T.Contreras was great to deal with in resolving a problem of my own doing.. as was the last CS rep who actually helped me a great deal in selecting the parts for my build just a few months ago.. when customer service is usually a pain.. these guys shine in making the interaction something you come away smiling from.. instead of gritting your teeth... keep up the good work guys.. its why i will always go to newegg first in all my comp needs.. :)"
Product handling was good but rebate program was a nightmare
"so i bought an asus moniter and there was a rebate i qualified for . The rebate process is in itself a very cumbersome process and i beg newegg to streamline the process a bit more. The rebate requires a copy of invoice which you can only get after contacting customer service and the upc barcode label is not a separate piece of paper but rather a sticker on the cardboard for your products. So in order to qualify for the rebate you have to manually cut out a piece of cardboard and then contact customer service for invoice copy and then finally fill out a rebate form which you can't even submit online . I understand that less peope will use the rebate if you make them jump through different hoops. But this is downright wrong and frustrating. No one in there right mind will ever buy from newegg if you continue such archaic practices. Please don't ignore this as a hate review but like a constructive criticism. "
Return in process
"As I write this review I am in the process of my third phone call regarding an order I had to return. So far, I have had a reasonably fair response from Customer Service and that is the reason for the 3 star review. In the past, I have NEVER had a problem with newegg. This is my first time returning an item which came from a separate company. So the final review will follow once this issue is resolved."

"Ive been a customer of Newegg since 2005. I bought a vid card that was DOA they sent me a return label for overnight shipping and will send me a new one with overnight shipping. Cant ask for anything more than that from a seller."
Best Online Store I never heard of
"I can't believe this has been a thing so long and I've had no idea. Only complaint is returning something takes over a week. But it is like that with most online stores. Great Prices, amazing Stock and caring employees. I have switched entirely from Amazon to Newegg. Barney, was the last customer service agent that I had the pleasure to meet. I have yet to meet anyone that was not nice and helpful. I only docked a star because I have still not received my rebate and am still waiting for my refund. The refund is well within allotted time, however the rebate was supposed to be giving to me immediately on my next order which is going on 3 days. I really love your site, but this is really putting me in a tight spot when both reasons were on your company sending me the wrong items and making me wait two weeks and counting.."

Fantastic Online Support Experience
"I had a family emergency and did not get time to get my $1300 return sent out in time. My order went passed it's allowed return time line of 30 days so I spoke with Apple H via online chat support. Apple H was curious and so helpful and was able to get a new RMA set up for me even though I was passed the 30 day return policy. I truly had a great experience and Apple H I hope your eggcellent customer service is paid back to you!"

"This was my first time encountering an issue with an item I purchased from Newegg. I bought a refurbished monitor and it had a scratch on the display and I talked to Newegg's customer support about it. They accepted the return and offered to replace it, paying for the label and shipping ( which is an unbelievable great display of customer care). I find out a few days later the monitor isn't in stock. Jane was able to work her magic and get me a fix to where I was able to get a replacement monitor, and it was quick and fast. I love shopping at Newegg and will continue to buy all of my electronic/pc/gaming devices from them. highly recommend their services to any avid person of electronics."
